Live music can be found every Thursday, Friday and Saturday night at a number of pubs or venues around town, including Wild Leap Brew Co. (308 Main Street), Brickhouse Grille (141 Main Street), Mighty Joe’s Pizza (101 LaFayette Parkway) and Pure Life Studios (206 Clark Street). Sweetland Amphitheatre at Boyd Park (110 Smith Street) offers a well-rounded calendar of concerts, movie nights, special events and more. Performing and visual arts expand options for entertainment and include the LaGrange Society of Performing Arts (210 Bull Street), LaGrange Symphony Orchestra, LaGrange College’s Price Theatre, LaGrange Art Museum (112 LaFayette Parkway) and the Legacy Museum on Main (136 Main Street).

Antiquing is a sport in and of itself and LaGrange has multiple places to get lost in as you hunt to find those one-of-a-kind items you can’t wait to get home. We call the perfect find the perfect souvenir! In downtown, shoppers can hunt for treasure at Marketplace at LaFayette Square (100 Bull Street), Ye Olde Red Door Antiques (6 E. LaFayette Square) and Bradley’s Antiques (127 Main Street).
Tempt the taste buds
Taste of Lemon (204 Morgan Street) is open Monday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. This local treasure served as a church in past years and has since saved many guests who were hungry from their travels, satisfying with delicious meat and vegetable options. (Hint: Be sure to ask for the Sherried Chicken.)
Venucci (129 Main Street), a restaurant led by Chef Tulla White, is located just off the square and features traditional Italian food and a fabulous ambiance. The eatery is open from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and from 5 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, and Saturday from 5-9:30 p.m.
Don’t miss Charlie Joseph’s (128 Bull Street), a LaGrange tradition featuring its famous hot dogs, burgers and treats since 1920. Grab a bite from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday and from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Wednesday.
For a fancier affair, C’Sons (120 Main Street) sets the scene with its upscale, airy atmosphere featuring a New American eclectic menu, and is open Tuesday through Saturday from 5:30-10 p.m.
Satisfy a carb craving at Mare Sol’s (124 Main Street) where the Mediterranean menu boasts its handmade pastas. The restaurant is open Monday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and from 5-10 p.m., as well as Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Raise a glass
Wild Leap Brew Co. (308 Main Street) is open seven days a week (check for hours) and is an exciting addition for travelers and locals, alike. Though just opened in 2017, it has already become a hot spot offering a unique setting, craft beers and special events. Even the building, with its beautiful curved glass from its 1940 days as a car dealership, is a site to enjoy.
