Staycation Week offers seven vacation packages that are designed to appeal to a variety of interests. The packages are Family Fun, Outdoor Adventure, Millennials, Lake Enthusiasts, Backroads and BBQ, Civil Rights/History and Special Needs. Packages offer discounted hotel rates, Cool Pass tickets to key attractions and an Attraction Discount Card. The campaign intends to drive tourism traffic to the region’s hotels during a low traffic week, inform local residents of the amenities in their backyard and attract visitors from neighboring states to the region.
